The waste heat recovery system for raw gas from the 2×55-hole, 6-meter-top-charging coke ovens in the eastern area of the steel coking plant entered the installation and commissioning phase in early May 2018. By November 22, all 110 holes were operating normally. The system currently runs stably, with steam production far exceeding design expectations. The steam drum maintains an average working pressure of 1.5–1.8 MPa (design pressure: 2.5 MPa), while the saturated steam output exceeds 18 T/h. This system has achieved higher-grade steam recovery from raw gas, with steam pressure reaching up to 2.5 MPa, and heat recovery per ton of coke significantly surpassing industry standards for coke oven waste heat recovery.
